DESCRIPTION:
WW - Omega Chronograph, pre-reference number, circa 1940s, manual wind, 33mm x 38mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with angular faceted lugs and oval pushers, vintage brown leather strap, old refinished dial which has since turned to a fabulous tropical brown with hour track in black, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 28.9, s#9387356, triple signed. Includes a period purple velvet wrapped box.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork; fine-plus dial with light surface spotting; excellent hands with light oxide; polished case shows light wear, no dents or dings; original crown shows very little wear; good plastic crystal. Omega box shows hardly any wear.
